Examples of International Logistics Services
International logistics services refer to the cross-border flow of goods and related support activities, including transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, distribution, and a series of services. International logistics refers to the logistics carried out between two or more countries (or regions). For example, there is a company in a certain country that specializes in clothing. It has 5000 specialty stores located in 60 countries and sells approximately 100000 pieces of clothing annually through international logistics. All work is done through 80 agents. If a certain specialty store discovers that a certain style of clothing needs to be restocked, it immediately notifies the designated agent. The agent immediately notifies the headquarters of a certain country of this information, and the headquarters then feeds back this information to the distribution center. The distribution center then packages, assembles, and delivers according to the needs of the specialty store within a certain period of time. The entire logistics process can be completed within a week.
